As of the launch of the new online payment system, those required to pay the Gambling Duty can fill in the relevant form at the electronic office of the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling and choose between paying online or at any bank collaborating with the AEAT.
In the first case, after the tax payment form is completed and confirmed, it can be paid online via the payment gateway of the Ministry of Finance and Public Authorities, by bank debit from one of the banks, or with a credit card. Remember that to formalise payment you will need a electronic certificate that ensures that the person making the payment is the owner of the bank account or credit card.
If opting for payment in person, print the payment forms provided at the electronic office and pay at any bank collaborating with the AEAT. You must then ensure the payment form, stamped by the credit institution, is delivered to the registry of the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling.
