Gambling

Gambling is risking money or other objects of measurable value on future, uncertain results which, to some extent, depend on chance ― regardless of whether the player's skills determine the outcome or not ― in order to obtain a prize.

The Spanish the Gambling Act, Law 13/2011 of 27 May basically regulates Spanish gambling activities carried out through electronic, computer, telematic or interactive means where in-person channels are rendered accessory. The Directorate General for Gambling Regulation is responsible for authorising, supervising and inspecting these activities to ensure the proper functioning of the industry and protect participants and vulnerable groups.
